Quick prognosis of 2019-2020: Class 4A, District 2

This season we have a strong group of young men who have worked over the summer putting in the extra work leading up to the season. All that hard work will show on the court. We are praying for a successful injury-free season as are given the opportunity for TCA Basketball to rise to a new level.

Basis of Schedule

Our schedule is based on our level of confidence we have as basketball players. I based our schedule similarity to the schools the players had the opportunity to play against this past summer during AAU.

Players' Thoughts about the Schedule

The players are up to the challenge. This is what they’ve been waiting on -- the opportunity to challenge themselves on the court.

Biggest Rivals of the Season

I don’t foresee any of the games as a rivalry team. We want to be able to keep the same momentum during every game. Taking it game by game and leaving it all on the court will give us the most success.

Teams TCA Most Looks Forward To Playing

We look forward to play Creekside on Opening Day. This game will set the foundation for the entire season. If our players dominate this game, we will definitely have the momentum to finish out the rest of the season.

Biggest Challenge Preparing for the Season

We don’t foresee any challenges leading into the season. The players were doing the hard preparations, and my staff and I have been doing the work behind the scenes.

Additional thoughts

I’m basically excited to see the energy and the intensity of the game at TCA. This is the moment that I’ve dreamed of being able to come back to TCA teaching and coaching the game I love.

We label this season "The New Wave!"
